About the role#
This summer internship offers an inside look at food manufacturing operations. You will spend your time learning how a production line runs and contributing to specific business projects. This is a full-time, paid position based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Learn the day-to-day operations of a food manufacturing line.
- Complete project-based work tailored to current business needs.
- Gather, organize, and analyze data to track performance and identify improvements.
- Lead process improvement projects focused on yield and waste reduction.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams and business leaders to develop solutions.
- Evaluate and improve core operational processes and ways of working.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation on your project results to the corporate management team.

- Compensation: $22.00 per hour
- Physical Requirements: You will work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures. You must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds while wearing required personal protective equipment.
