About the role#
This internship offers a look at how a food manufacturing line runs. You will work on projects that change based on current business needs. This role provides insight into the daily operations of a food processing environment.
What you'll do#
- Learn the operations of a food manufacturing line.
- Complete project-based work to address business needs.
- Gather, organize, and analyze data to understand current performance.
- Identify and develop solutions for process improvements.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders.
- Evaluate core processes and day-to-day operational activities.
- Prepare and present your final project findings to the corporate management team.
Location & details#
- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Pay: The hourly rate is $22.00.
- Physical requirements: You will work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures. You must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. Proper PPE is required.
