About the role#
This internship offers a look into the daily operations of a food manufacturing line. You will work on specific projects based on current business needs to gain insight into the production environment. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn how a food manufacturing line runs.
- Gather, organize, and analyze data to understand current performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop effective solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders.
- Evaluate and improve core processes, ways of working, and daily operational activities.
- Prepare a final presentation on your project results.
- Present your findings to members of the corporate management team.
Location & details#
- Location: West Chicago, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
- Physical requirements: You will work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures. You must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. Proper PPE is required.
