About the role#
This internship provides support within our Global Procurement Supply Chain team. You will work on a variety of purchasing and sourcing tasks, helping our department manage supplier data, internal requests, and process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Set up and maintain supplier information in the Pierce database.
- Prepare weekly reports to assist department leads with decision making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather part drawings and information.
- Build relationships with suppliers to obtain part number cross-references.
- Process internal purchasing requests for non-inventory parts and services.
- Assist with mass price updates in the ERP system.
- Help with department improvement projects and training for the new Supplier Portal.
- Support the team with past due orders and critical shortages.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize your workload to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
