About the role#
As an Electrical Integration Engineer Intern, you will work with the Electrical Integration and Verification and Validation teams. This role provides hands-on experience in vehicle control and embedded systems development. You will contribute to projects that support our manufacturing and engineering goals for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support Electrical and Software Engineers in the design and integration of embedded systems.
- Provide technical assistance on the assembly floor during prototype, pilot, and production builds.
- Learn vehicle troubleshooting techniques and professional documentation standards.
- Consult with internal departments, customers, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
- Execute test cases to validate the performance, functionality, and safety of embedded systems.
- Verify network communication across CAN, LIN, and Ethernet using tools like Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, or ETAS INCA.
- Log and triage software defects while collaborating with system engineers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Ability to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the Summer 2027 term.
