About the role#
Olsson is seeking a structural engineering intern to join our Facility Engineering and Design team. You will work on projects involving commercial developments, healthcare facilities, laboratories, data centers, and military installations. This role provides hands-on experience by allowing you to work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform structural design and analytical duties.
- Prepare technical calculations and reports.
- Assist with the production of construction documents in Revit.
- Participate in construction observation, which may include travel to job sites.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for civil or architectural engineering.
- Strong math and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit is preferred.
