About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site at a field project location, assisting superintendents with the daily operations of industrial construction. This role requires physical labor in outdoor environments and does not include visa sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Assist field superintendents with daily task completion.
- Prepare daily reports to track project status.
- Manage material expediting and location.
- Support cost and progress reporting.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking long distances on uneven terrain, and working in varying weather conditions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university program for Civil or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and oral communication abilities.
- A self-starter mindset with high motivation and initiative.
- Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer tasks.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in rugged, outdoor environments.
