About the role#
As a summer 2027 student intern, you will join the Construction Materials Testing team. You will work in our geotechnical lab to test and report on materials used in various construction projects. This role provides insight into how testing protocols affect project outcomes and quality verification processes.
What you'll do#
- Perform testing and reporting on soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete.
- Assist project managers with the creation of geotechnical and construction materials testing reports.
- Conduct field work, including geotechnical testing, construction observation, and site inspections.
- Work in various weather and terrain conditions as project needs require.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for construction management, construction administration, engineering, or a related field.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving history.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Capability to work overtime hours during the summer based on project workload.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- High attention to detail.

- This is a paid, full-time internship located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- The role is on-site.
