About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Roadway Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Ft. Lauderdale for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time position that requires on-site attendance. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting our engineering staff on various roadway projects.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and operations support to the Roads and Highways engineering team.
- Collaborate with engineers on roadway plan production tasks.
- Perform simple drafting and CAD/ORD assignments based on detailed instructions.
- Assist in compiling design data and preparing construction plans.
What you'll need#
- You must be a Junior pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship in Summer 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer is preferred.

- Location: Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

- Compensation: $25 - $31 hourly, depending on skills and experience.
