About the role#
As an intern on the Rail Track team, you will perform hands-on work that connects your classroom experience to real-world projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers on railroad track and civil design tasks. This is a full-time, paid position that offers the chance to contribute to team projects and gain practical experience in the engineering field.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic project design using CAD drafting.
- Conduct engineering research.
- Write technical reports.
- Travel to job sites for observation as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering.
- You have a working knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- You have strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- You work well as part of a team.
