About the role#
This internship with our Water/Wastewater team offers practical experience in engineering design. You will work alongside engineers and designers to support projects that improve infrastructure. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to create plans and perform design work.
- Contribute to project production sheets by adding dimension and layout plans, as well as title and detail sheets.
- Assist on projects involving sanitary sewer piping, water and wastewater pump stations, water piping, and water storage tanks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an associate degree program for architectural drafting or a related field.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.

- This role is based on-site in North Kansas City, Missouri.
