About the role#
The Student Assistant for Recruitment and Events supports the Recruitment department and Campus Administration with various events and outreach activities. This role involves direct interaction with prospective and current students to help foster a welcoming campus environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with event set-up for the Recruitment department.
- Provide general campus tours for visitors.
- Greet attendees at various events and assist with check-in processes.
- Support campus information nights, student appreciation events, and local career fairs.
- Manage information booths for current students and provide general administrative assistance as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program at Okanagan College.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in various computer software applications.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior work experience is considered an asset.

- Term: Summer 2026 to Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
