About the role#
Okanagan College is hiring a student Teaching Assistant to support the migration of courses from Moodle to Brightspace. This role is based in the Hall School of Business and Entrepreneurship and runs from September 8, 2026, to December 22, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Compare Moodle course shells against the new Brightspace versions using provided checklists.
- Flag inconsistencies and resolve minor technical issues during the migration process.
- Assist with onboarding faculty and students to the new learning management system.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business Administration program with at least 48 credits completed.
- A minimum Grade Point Average of 75 percent maintained prior to and during the contract term.
- A strong grasp of the subject matter within your program.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage your time effectively.

- Location: Kelowna, British Columbia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Compensation: $18.42 to $23.51 per hour.
