About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship within the Global Supply Chain organization at Northrop Grumman. You will work on-site in Annapolis, Maryland, gaining hands-on experience in business operations and procurement processes.
What you'll do#
- Monitor supplier delivery and quality performance.
- Support business forecasting and data analysis for the Global Supply Chain division.
- Collaborate with internal partners to build sourcing strategies.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and manage the placement of purchase orders.
- Extract and validate data from multiple sources to support decision-making.
- Work with suppliers and internal customers to resolve operational issues.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, with plans to remain enrolled in Fall 2027.
- A major in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the summer.
- U.S. citizenship to meet security clearance requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel formulas and pivot tables), Power BI, or Tableau.
- Previous work experience, leadership roles, or involvement in extracurricular activities.
