About the role#
Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineer Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in the Payload and Ground Systems Division within the Space Systems Sector. You will work on-site in Linthicum, Maryland, on a full-time basis for at least 10 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Operate related equipment and conduct tests according to prescribed formats.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks, making necessary adjustments or modifications.
- Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Commitment to be enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
