About the role#
Northrop Grumman is hiring an intern for the Avionics Engineering directorate. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on electronics and systems within the Aeronautics Systems Sector.
What you'll do#
- Research, design, develop, and test electronic equipment and systems.
- Work with radar and radiation detection equipment.
- Support radio, television, and other communications systems.
- Design and test circuitry components, as well as analog and digital computers.
- Develop and maintain control and test equipment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university.
- Graduation date after August 2027.
- Major in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
