About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Co-op, you will work alongside engineers in a technical environment to design, analyze, and develop engineering solutions. This role focuses on applying electrical engineering principles to support nuclear projects. You will be part of the Advanced Technologies group.
What you'll do#
- Select instruments for process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and positioning systems.
- Design instrument interfaces, routing, and mounting solutions, and determine control panel sizing.
- Develop algorithms, architectures, and requirements for control systems.
- Create and design electrical circuits and schematics.
- Develop and deliver engineering solutions for use in a nuclear environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree program.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Availability for the full assignment period from Spring 2027 through Summer 2027.

- This position is based on-site in Lynchburg, Virginia.
- The term runs from Spring 2027 through Summer 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
