About the role#
The Supply Management Intern will work with internal and external resources to resolve procurement issues and ensure plant requirements are met. You will gain experience in procurement policies while contributing to the efficiency of the supply management team.
What you'll do#
- Interact with internal and external resources daily to resolve procurement issues.
- Manage documentation related to procurement activities.
- Manage projects aimed at improving procurement processes.
- Collect, organize, interpret, and publish reports to support business needs.
- Complete purchase order maintenance activities to support buyer needs.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy security clearance.
