About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team for a three-month program during Summer 2027. You will work alongside our engineers to develop electrical designs ranging from individual PCBAs to full spacecraft systems. This role involves hands-on work with power, digital, and mixed-signal designs.
What you'll do#
- Design electronics PCBAs for spacecraft, including architecture, component selection, circuit board design, board bring-up, and debugging.
- Qualify your designs through environmental testing, including vibration, shock, thermal, and thermal vacuum testing.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate designs into spacecraft systems and operate hardware in flight.
- Develop test equipment, development PCBAs, and test scripts to support development and qualification.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- At least 6 months of technical engineering experience outside of a university classroom setting, such as research, extracurricular projects, or prior internships.
- Ability to work effectively in an integrated, collaborative team environment.

- Compensation: This is a paid, full-time position with an hourly rate between $30 and $40. A housing and travel stipend may be available.
- Export Compliance: This role requires access to information controlled by U.S. export control regulations. Candidates must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.
