About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work on projects that contribute to Intel products and platforms. You will gain hands-on experience while working alongside technical teams to solve engineering challenges. This internship is open for Spring and Summer 2027 starts.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, debug, and improve software that enables Intel products.
- Support code reviews, high-level design, scripting, automation, and validation tasks.
- Contribute to open and secure software platforms.
- Apply programming, data, and systems thinking to solve engineering problems.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, product, and software teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- At least 3 months of experience from coursework, academic projects, research, internships, or student organizations.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience or interest in design, architecture, programming, scripting, data analysis, automation, modeling, simulation, validation, or debugging.

- Locations: Hillsboro, Oregon; Folsom, California; Santa Clara, California; Austin, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
