About the role#
The Software Developer Intern position provides hands-on experience in software development, application support, and database technologies. You will work under the guidance of experienced technical personnel to assist with the maintenance and support of internal business systems. This role is designed to build the skills necessary for potential progression into a Software Developer I position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and publishing software applications.
- Develop familiarity with C#, MVC, Web Forms, and other internal technologies.
- Support basic database queries, data validation, and application-related database activities using SQL Server Management Studio and Oracle SQL Developer.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for assigned applications, processes, and software changes.
- Assist with the maintenance of internal web applications and troubleshooting routine file formatting or transfer issues.
- Participate in application testing and document results to identify potential defects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor's degree program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Information Systems.
- Junior or senior academic standing is preferred.
- Academic experience or coursework in programming, software development, or database concepts.
- Ability to obtain and retain a valid security clearance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
- The internship term is rolling.
