About the role#
We are looking for a Software Developer Intern to join the MyGeotab Reporting and Authentication team. You will work alongside developers and the Product team to build features, troubleshoot bugs, and improve how customers interact with our application. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Product team to implement features for Reporting and Authentication.
- Design software solutions and troubleshoot bugs.
- Develop UI components using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Write automated unit tests using XUnit in C#.
- Create database access code using SQL queries and Postgres.
- Participate in team meetings, peer reviews, and write technical documentation.
- Use Git for source control.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience developing applications for a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with object-oriented design, unit testing, optimization, and multithreaded programming.
- Technical competence with software tools, including Google Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
