About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern within the Tax Innovation team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of software solutions. This role involves working on projects that support tax strategies and compliance. You will gain exposure to professional practices while working alongside experienced team members.
What you'll do#
- Write and implement code using C#.NET and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with the team to understand functional requirements and contribute to software design.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and standards.
- Debug software to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Apply object-oriented design principles to improve architecture.
- Use REST Client and React Native for application development and testing.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- You should be in your third year of a four-year program or your fourth year of a five-year program.
- Ability to work on-site in Rosemont, Illinois.
