About the role#
We are seeking Finance, Accounting, and Tax interns to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in Northbrook or Chicago, Illinois. You will work within one of several teams, including Financial Planning and Analysis, Operational Finance, Internal Audit, Controllership, or GL Accounting. This role offers the chance to network with senior finance leaders and participate in a community of interns across various functional areas.
What you'll do#
- Extract data from financial systems to perform analyses and explain variances.
- Develop business cases for investment projects and assess the impact of business process changes.
- Participate in the development of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
- Manage inputs, compile data, and summarize information for management review.
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports by analyzing account information and trends.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Research the impact of changes in accounting standards or company strategies.
- Work on projects to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost of operations for shared service processes.
- Support business case development, due diligence, and integration for company acquisitions.
- Assist project managers in developing business cases to improve ROI on capital investments.
What you'll need#
- Rising senior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret information from diverse sources.
- Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals through education or previous internship experience.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Indefinite right to work in the United States.
- Experience with business ERPs like Oracle or NetSuite is a plus.

- This role is based in Northbrook, IL or Chicago, IL.
- The work modality is hybrid, requiring three days per week on-site.
