About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in a global professional services firm. You will work on various marketing projects, ranging from digital campaigns and content creation to event support and market research. The role is designed to immerse you in our culture and provide mentorship to help you grow your skills. Specific projects depend on current business priorities and your learning goals.
What you'll do#
- Support digital campaign activities, including social media, email, web, paid media, planning, and performance tracking.
- Draft and refine content for various channels, such as social media, email, web copy, or internal communications.
- Assist with website updates, CMS activities, or SEO tasks.
- Conduct research on markets, audiences, or competitors to inform marketing projects.
- Help with event preparation, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
- Maintain documentation and coordinate with the team to meet project needs.
- Follow UL Standards of Business Conduct and all security practices.
- Support additional marketing projects and team priorities as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a customer-centric mindset.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
- Interest in business strategy, marketing performance, and analytical thinking.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools, analytics or reporting tools, and AI tools for marketing is helpful but not required.
- Any prior academic or extracurricular marketing or content experience is a plus.

- Location: Northbrook, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with 3 days per week on-site.
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
- Status: This is a paid, full-time internship. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
