About the role#
This internship supports the Internal Audit department while providing hands-on experience for students. You will work alongside our staff to gain exposure to audit processes and risk advisory services.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and maintain audit working papers.
- Test SOX financial reporting control activities, including business process and IT controls.
- Update SOX process flow charts and control documentation within our software.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly operating reports.
- Support auditors throughout various stages of the audit process.
- Develop computer-aided internal auditing procedures.
- Build relationships with business units to act as a point of contact.
- Challenge business units on their assumptions and execution plans.
- Handle special assignments as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be an active college student majoring in accounting.
- Your expected graduation date must be December 2027 or later.
- You must maintain full-time student status, good academic standing, and the GPA required for graduation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using the internet.
