About the role#
This internship offers an introduction to tax consulting within our professional services practice. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support client projects, learn our internal methodologies, and gain exposure to the complexities of corporate tax. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2028 term.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze tax regulations to help optimize client tax positions and minimize risks.
- Participate in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to build tax models and structures.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits.
- Use data analytics to identify opportunities for efficiency.
- Support the development of regulatory compliance strategies.
- Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.
- Ability to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Note that we do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
