About the role#
As a Forensic Accounting Intern in our Consulting Practice, you will help clients resolve complex business challenges. You will work on financial investigations, analyze data, and craft solutions that integrate business acumen with technology. This role involves collaborating with clients across various industries to provide litigation support and risk mitigation strategies.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial documents to identify discrepancies and trace irregularities to their source.
- Perform audits of financial records to ensure legal compliance and accuracy.
- Research and prevent financial fraud using forecasting and risk assessment techniques.
- Deliver forensic insights to legal teams and present findings for use as trial evidence.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and identify solutions.
What you'll need#
- A strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proven ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- A commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Current enrollment as a college senior or graduate student in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
