About the role#
As a Financial Crimes Summer Intern at PwC, you will join our Consulting practice to help clients protect their businesses. You will gain hands-on experience with real client work while exploring how organizations operate and build trust through compliance. This role provides exposure to digital consulting tools and guidance from experienced professionals as you work on regulatory responses and strategic planning.
What you'll do#
- Assist clients in managing their financial crime programs.
- Analyze large volumes of electronic data to support client needs.
- Navigate complex legal and business processes for compliance.
- Support clients through transformations and regulatory responses.
- Participate in meetings with leadership, workshops, and client visits.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of post-secondary education in Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, or Finance.
- A strong interest in financial crime identification, monitoring, prevention, and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Coding skills in languages like Python or R are helpful but not required.
- A commitment to working effectively within diverse teams.
