About the role#
As an intern with the Nidec Aerospace team, you will contribute to the development of electric propulsion systems for battery-powered aircraft. This role supports the transition to sustainable aviation and net-zero carbon emissions. You will work alongside a team of design engineers to support aerospace industry leaders, moving projects from initial ideation through to production.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with a diverse team of experienced design engineers to support aerospace industry leaders.
- Spearhead technological advances in transport decarbonization.
- Support the manufacturing of electric propulsion systems for battery-powered aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong academic background with relevant engineering coursework.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
