About the role#
As an intern with the Nidec Aerospace team, you will contribute to the manufacturing of electric propulsion systems for battery-powered aircraft. This role supports the aerospace industry in its transition to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. You will work on projects ranging from ideation to production to help advance transport decarbonization.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with a diverse team of design engineers to support aerospace industry leaders.
- Contribute to technological advances in transport decarbonization.
- Assist in the manufacturing processes for electric propulsion systems designed for battery-powered aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree program in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A strong academic background with relevant engineering coursework.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
