About the role#
The Test Lab Engineer Co-op supports hardware development programs for HVAC and commercial system applications. This role involves working directly with design engineers and technicians to validate motor controls and related hardware.
What you'll do#
- Support hardware testing on development programs for HVAC and commercial systems.
- Interface with software and hardware design engineers to determine appropriate test parameters.
- Develop hardware validation samples for testing and customer evaluation.
- Assemble and modify electronic controls for testing.
- Set up and perform tests on motor controls and related hardware.
- Document testing procedures and results.
- Assist lab staff with various software and hardware tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for Electrical Engineering with junior status.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Hands-on skills including soldering and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multi-functional teams.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Location: St. Louis, Missouri.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, minimum of 25 hours per week during business hours.
- Term: Rolling.
