About the role#
As a Manufacturing Intern, you will spend your time working on high-impact projects within our manufacturing departments. This role offers hands-on experience in a production environment where you will learn how our operations function and contribute to real-world solutions. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Temple, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through multiple areas of the plant to gain a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process.
- Provide support to plant team members to gain direct experience with production methods, machines, and processes.
- Assist with research on new and existing projects to support major decision making.
- Attend department meetings and develop action plans based on feedback.
- Create a presentation regarding your internship experience, projects, and outcomes to share with department leadership.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Junior or rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management.
- No prior experience in a manufacturing environment, specific position, or project management is required.
