About the role#
The Admissions team is looking for a student to help promote Newman University to prospective students. You will work with the Admissions Digital Marketing Manager to create content that highlights campus life, events, and scholarships. This role requires someone who is comfortable on camera and understands social media trends.
What you'll do#
- Develop and produce content for the Admissions social media channels.
- Interview students, faculty, and staff members.
- Create classroom takeovers for different academic programs.
- Produce how-to videos.
- Capture photos and videos both on and off campus.
- Promote upcoming admissions events and university scholarships.
- Follow university social media guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a half-time student at Newman University.
- Strong communication and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work with flexibility on various projects.
- A professional approach with respect for confidentiality.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- Location: Wichita, Kansas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Hours: 5 to 15 hours per week, with potential for additional evening or weekend shifts during recruitment events.
