About the role#
The Film Studies Office is hiring a student worker to assist with daily operations. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves a mix of administrative tasks and facility maintenance to support the department.
What you'll do#
- Handle office tasks like filing, sorting mail, and managing supplies.
- Use Microsoft Office and Adobe software for various projects.
- Monitor and organize the office, equipment rooms, and editing labs.
- Check film equipment in and out, inspecting items for damage.
- Maintain and update the department inventory list.
- Help gather content for the Film Studies Newsletter.
- Assist faculty and the marketing department with events and productions.
- Report building maintenance issues to the Department Assistant or the Building Director.
What you'll need#
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal instructions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of film, editing, lighting, and camera equipment is preferred.
- We provide training on the software used for equipment check-in and check-out.
