About the role#
The University of Tulsa is hiring a student assistant to support the Men's Basketball program. This is a paid, on-site workstudy position with a rolling term. We are looking for students in Kinesiology, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or Health Administration who can balance their academic schedule with team requirements.
What you'll do#
- Help with daily practice and game operations.
- Operate the clock system during team practices.
- Support players during workouts by rebounding and passing.
- Assist the coaching staff with pregame and postgame meals.
- Break down film from games, practices, and scouting reports.
- Take on additional projects as assigned by coaches and support staff.
What you'll need#
- A basic understanding of men's basketball.
- Strong time management skills to handle both academics and team duties.
- Ability to rebound and pass during drills.
- Familiarity with data systems, though we can train you on specific film coding tasks.
- Alignment with our program pillars of Attitude, Commitment, and Class.
