About the role#
The Football Video Operations Assistant supports the Delaware Valley University Division III football program. You will help the coaching staff review performance and develop game plans by managing practice and game footage. This position is a part-time role that fits with your educational goals in fields like communications, digital media, or sport management.
What you'll do#
- Operate video cameras to film practices and games from locations like the press box, end zone towers, or the sidelines.
- Edit and organize footage using video analysis software for coach review.
- Upload, tag, and catalog video files so coaches and athletes can access them for film study.
- Assist the coaching staff with the breakdown and exchange of game film with opposing teams.
- Maintain and inventory video equipment including cameras, tripods, and tablets.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment and handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student.
- You need authorization to work in the United States.
- An interest or coursework in digital media, film, sport management, or communications is helpful.
- Familiarity with video editing software is required.
- You should have a basic understanding of football terminology, formations, and game structure.
- You must be able to work in various weather conditions and environments, including stadium noise and elevated filming platforms.

- This role is located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
- Work is on-site and follows a rolling term.
- The position is paid at $10 per hour.
- You may need to work evenings, weekends, and travel for away games.
