About the role#
Delaware Valley University is hiring a Student Worker to serve as a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader. You will support students in courses such as General Chemistry, Algebra, and Calculus by leading review sessions and helping them master difficult concepts.
What you'll do#
- Lead SI sessions to help students solve problems and understand course material.
- Guide students on effective study strategies.
- Meet or communicate with course instructors every week to align on content.
- Submit attendance records and other required data to faculty or the Associate Dean of Student Support.
- Complete all required training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Delaware Valley University.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A grade of B or higher in the relevant course you intend to support.
- A formal recommendation from a DVU faculty member.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with peers and professors.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
- This is a part-time, paid student worker role.
