About the role#
Delaware Valley University is hiring Peer Tutors to help fellow students master course material. You will assist peers in understanding complex concepts and help them build effective study habits for their classes.
What you'll do#
- Tutor students in specific course content.
- Suggest study and learning strategies to improve academic performance.
- Track your time and document specific tutoring activities.
- Ask students to complete feedback forms after sessions.
- Finish all required training by the assigned deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Delaware Valley University.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A grade of B or higher in the courses you plan to tutor.
- A recommendation from a DVU faculty member.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with peers.
