About the role#
The Chemistry Laboratory Assistant supports the freshman chemistry lab. You will help keep the space stocked, organized, and maintained to ensure classes run safely and efficiently throughout the semester.
What you'll do#
- Organize lab supplies.
- Set up and break down student stations.
- Prepare and maintain chemical solutions.
- Clean the lab and keep it in good operating condition.
- Check equipment to ensure it functions properly.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs and work while standing or walking.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Delaware Valley University.
- Completion of Chem 1 and 2.
- A GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Familiarity with lab operations, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A reliable work ethic, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respond to work-related messages in a timely manner.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
- Work is on-site.
- This is a part-time role with rolling start dates.
- Compensation is $10 per hour.
