About the role#
The New York Post is seeking a Video Field Production Intern for the fall of 2026. This role supports the field production team, which captures and edits content outside of the studio. You will work closely with producers to create video content while gaining hands-on experience in cinematography, editing, and digital media strategy.
What you'll do#
- Assist in field shoots using DSLR cameras.
- Help with video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Research stories and trends to help shape video content.
- Write video headlines and descriptions for digital platforms.
- Create thumbnails and promotional assets in Photoshop.
- Pull, organize, and maintain video gear for shoots.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in video production and digital media.
- Basic experience with DSLR cameras and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- An interest in researching and writing for digital video.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Eligibility as a current junior, senior, master's student, or a recent graduate who completed their degree within the past year.

- Term: September 14, 2026, to November 20, 2026.
- Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid at $20 per hour.
