About the role#
The Decider Social Intern position is a part-time, paid opportunity for the Fall 2026 term. This role is based on-site at our office in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The internship runs from September 14, 2026, to November 20, 2026, requiring 24 hours of work per week. We are looking for current juniors, seniors, master's students, or recent graduates who have completed their degree within the past year to join our team.
What you'll do#
- Assist in optimizing and executing social media strategy across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Gather and edit digital assets such as images, GIFs, and memes for social platforms and the website.
- Pitch and execute original content ideas with a specific focus on Reels and TikTok.
- Edit video content for various social platforms to create engaging posts.
- Track, report, and monitor social media performance to help optimize future content and strategy.
What you'll need#
- Experience with major social media platforms and an interest in social trends.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt to a specific brand voice.
- Excellent time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn.
- An interest in streaming entertainment and pop culture.
