About the role#
This internship is part of the Future Talent Program within the Global Data Management and Standards team. The program runs for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027. You will work on projects that support our research labs division while gaining professional experience. This is a full-time position that offers on-site or hybrid work arrangements.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and maintain multiple databases.
- Collaborate with team members to support database functions.
- Use designing and coding utilities to support data operations.
- Update and amend existing databases.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
- Understanding of database management systems, with a preference for Oracle.
- Experience in database development and working with PL/SQL or SAS.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Access, and MS Project.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, VB, or C#.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, along with general web development knowledge.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

- The role is based in Rahway, New Jersey.
- This is a paid internship.
