About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to see how HR strategy and academic theory translate into day-to-day practice. You will work within the People Team to support our Manufacturing, R&D, and Product departments. This is a full-time, paid, 10-week summer program running from June 1, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the HRBP to support daily operations across various teams.
- Assist with employee engagement efforts.
- Help establish and refine SOPs and other HR processes.
- Collaborate with the People Team to brainstorm and pilot new programs.
- Surface trends or issues from the manufacturing floor and prepare recommendations for the HRBP.
- Maintain a working understanding of HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Provide light administrative support as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student majoring in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and a high level of discretion.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Comfort spending time on a manufacturing floor and interfacing directly with employees.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to an agile team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with HRIS and ATS tools is a plus.
- A solutions-driven, curious mindset.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.

- This position is based on-site in Johnson City, New York.
- The role is full-time for the duration of the 10-week summer term.
