About the role#
We are looking for an HR Intern to support the U.S. HR Generalist at our Raleigh site. You will work under the supervision of the Head of HR Services U.S. to help with daily HR tasks. This position is part-time, capped at 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Manage electronic filing and organization within the HR SharePoint.
- Shred paper files after they are uploaded to the system.
- Update and consolidate job descriptions.
- Maintain tracking spreadsheets for I-9 forms, disciplinary actions, and personnel folders.
- Input new hires into the HRIS and review reports for data accuracy.
- Prepare documentation for onboarding and offboarding.
- Assemble candidate interview packets for management.
- Coordinate and schedule new employee orientation sessions.
- Manage HR communications on bulletin boards.
- Collect and distribute HR mail.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma and current enrollment in an undergraduate Human Resources degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to learn HRIS systems and other software quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise confidentiality and pay close attention to detail.
- Proven time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Previous HR internship experience is preferred.
- Ability to navigate all departments within the facility and lift up to 15 pounds.
