About the role#
This co-op program offers students an opportunity to contribute to manufacturing and research facilities at our site in De Soto, Kansas. You will join our Animal Health Division for a six-month term, working alongside cross-functional teams to support the production of veterinary products. This role is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Assist project engineers with design reviews and track construction progress.
- Work with operations, maintenance, and engineering groups to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Define strategies for preventative maintenance and compile technical asset documentation.
- Participate in the preparation, review, and execution of facility commissioning and qualification activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Mechanical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year by June 2027.
- Ability to work full-time from June 2027 through November 2027.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a proactive approach to project details.
- Ability to work in both office settings and active facility commissioning environments.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
