About the role#
The Future Talent Program offers a 24-week co-op experience within our Research and Development Division. You will contribute to automation and engineering projects while gaining insight into our work environment. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and execute complex experiments.
- Gather requirements by collaborating with scientists and engineers.
- Build components and programs, then determine how they work together.
- Create diagrams and models to guide users.
- Ensure instrumentation and programs run as intended.
- Coordinate with internal teams and third-party partners on implementation strategies.
- Perform experiment execution, data collection, and analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS/BA program in Biology, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Availability for the full 24-week period.
- Knowledge of basic biological techniques, computer programming, mechanical design, and workflow execution.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.
- Coursework involving lab experience.
- Robotics programming experience is preferred.
