About the role#
This internship focuses on the development and implementation of global processes within the Global Materials Organization. You will support large scale transformation projects, including supplier collaboration and the governance of global reporting systems. This is a part-time position based on-site in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Draft, update, and standardize global SOPs and training documentation for the supply chain.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, lead time variances, and process gaps from forecasting to receiving.
- Translate business objectives into actionable strategies.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Apply digital project management skills to support organizational transformations.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Operations, or a related field.
- Graduation date no later than December 2029.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn), or advanced AI capabilities in Excel, Power BI, and Google Gemini.
- Basic AI literacy, including familiarity with generative AI platforms and prompt engineering.
- A systems mindset and curiosity about how AI, machine learning, and automation intersect with ERP environments.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems like Oracle or SAP is preferred.
