About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will work with our procurement teams to support material sourcing for various construction projects. This role provides hands-on experience in the lifecycle of construction materials, from initial ordering to final delivery. You will work alongside buyers and analysts to help project teams maintain schedules and budgets.
What you'll do#
- Learn the types of materials purchased by our team of buyers.
- Create and maintain catalogs for each operating group.
- Standardize material descriptions and categories.
- Assist the team with purchase transactions.
- Track order status from the point of purchase through delivery.
- Communicate order updates to project teams.
- Enter purchase orders and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Visit job sites or equipment facilities to understand material use and organizational structure.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, preferably as a junior.
- Pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and stay organized.

- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: Paid position starting at $18 per hour, with potential for higher wages based on academic standing.
