    About the role#

    The Equipment Solutions Intern supports construction projects by managing equipment rentals and site services. You will work with internal teams, trade partners, and vendors to ensure equipment assets are optimized. This role provides administrative and analytical support to the team and offers direct exposure to construction field operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Plan and procure equipment for construction processes, including handling internal and third-party rental transactions, logistics, and billing.
    • Manage software systems used to track equipment and process rentals.
    • Assist with contract document management, receiving support, and purchasing consumables.
    • Participate in crane selection and sourcing, which includes sizing equipment, evaluating rental options, and managing vendor bids.
    • Gain exposure to equipment facility and field operations.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
    • Junior standing in your undergraduate program.
    • Previous internship experience is preferred.
    • A basic understanding of construction and general business practices.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
    • A positive, professional attitude and solid customer service skills.
    • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.

    • Location: Wisconsin, United States.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: Starts at $18 per hour, with potential for higher wages based on year in school.
    • Sponsorship: This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
