About the role#
The Strategy Analyst Intern joins the Strategic Planning and Development team for a 12-week summer program. This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and articulating strategic opportunities for the organization. You will work on projects that inform decisions regarding new markets, business expansion, and internal strategy practices.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic projects including M&A assessments, strategic partnerships, and new business opportunities.
- Assist in the development and refinement of strategic plans, annual strategic reviews, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to identify trends and implications for the business.
- Analyze financial and operational data to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with operating and business service groups to align research with business objectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate junior.
- Previous related internship experience.
- A basic understanding of construction and generally accepted business practices.
- A positive and professional attitude with solid customer service skills.
